Attractions
Branson area attractions are as varied as the personal favorites of our guests. Silver Dollar City offers visitors the chance to experience the Ozarks at the turn of the last century with traditional food, costumes, music and crafts… and the Ozarks at the new millennium with adrenaline raising rides and four entertaining festivals. All new for 2003 will be Celebration City. Watch for upcoming announcements about this exciting new theme park!

Guests of the Dixie Stampede enjoy a friendly rivalry between the north and the south while enjoying a delicious dinner, spectacular horsemanship and a rousing show. (Keep your eyes open for the Ostrich race and a lot more surprises!)

White Water offers gallons of great fun with activities that are sure to be called ”cool!” by the kids. For those who want to combine a show and tour of Table Rock Lake, both the Showboat Branson Belle and Branson’s American Star offer these unique opportunities.

Outdoor recreation enthusiasts can explore the area’s lakes, hills and valleys while hiking, biking and touring. Museums, the Stone Hill Winery tour, a tour of the area aboard ”Ride The Ducks” and fascinating exhibits at area properties provide education mixed with entertainment. And, the family can cherish time together at fun centers riding go-karts, playing mini golf, splashing in bumper boats and enjoying a host of fun-filled activities. Don’t miss the all new wooden go-kart rides at The Tracks or the indoor Splash Country water fun park.

The Branson/Lakes Area is naturally entertaining! The theaters and shows allow visitors to revel in the glittering lights and sparkling stars, but for some, a vacation means enjoying a slower, but equally entertaining pace. Escaping the world while listening to the rhythm of the waves in a peaceful cove, soaring over the water while parasailing or landing the catch that will be talked about for years to come are just some of the ways to enjoy the natural side of Branson’s entertainment offerings.

Lakes
Nestled in the scenic Ozark Mountains, Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo and Bull Shoals Lake offer water enthusiasts an incredible choice of activities. Visitors can swim, ski, boat, sail, scuba dive, jet ski, parasail and of course, fish. Access to the water is easy. Lake Taneycomo flows through the city of Branson and Table Rock is just a ten-minute drive from the central district. Bull Shoals Lake, just 20 minutes away, provides a secluded, rustic getaway.

All of Branson’s lakes offer camping and picnicking facilities in addition to a wide range of accommodations. Several commercial docks provide fuel, supplies and boat rentals including ski boats, pontoon boats, bass boats and wave runners. Also, most of the resorts on the lakes offer rental boats and private dock facilities for their guests’ boats too.

Golf
Golf has become one of the area’s fastest growing activities with championship golf courses becoming an integral part of the landscape. Several courses offer spectacular vistas of the surrounding Ozarks and challenging holes sure to please both the novice and expert golfer.

Outdoors
Wildlife is plentiful in the Ozarks, and the lakes provide the perfect backdrop for spotting wildlife of all kinds. Frequent sightings include eagles, deer, wild turkeys, cranes and other water birds. Even during the busy summer months, visitors can find a private spot to drop in a fishing line or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The lakes’ pristine waters never freeze, welcoming visitors year-round.

The nearby State Parks, National Forests and Conservation Areas provide a wealth of outdoor recreation activities set amidst the scenic splendor of the Ozark Mountains.

Shopping
What vacation would be complete without filling those extra spaces in the luggage with treasures that remind a visitor of a marvelous vacation experience? In the Branson/Lakes Area, visitors can enjoy shopping at a tremendous wealth of retailers - all of which offer tremendous choices from which to select. Outlet malls, specialty shops and craft artisans make Branson a truly unique shopping destination.

The Branson Landing
 is a total remake of the downtown waterfront.  This 65 acre development encompasses a new water fountain feature designed by the same folks that built the fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, with spectacular fire, water and music shows every evening.
New shopping venues include the Belk Department store, a new Bass Pro shop with boats on the water that you can actually take for a test drive and many boutiques and shops that will keep you shopping for hours.  With a variety of new restaurants you'll find something for everyone's taste buds.  Be sure to make this Downtown Branson experience part of your must do list.
